Our Mission
CollegeShare was created to help college students connect and exchange items to promote sustainability, reduce financial burdens, and build a community of support. We believe in sharing resources, making college life more affordable and environmentally friendly.
Why We Exist
As college students, the cost of living, textbooks, and essential items can create financial stress. CollegeShare offers a way to reduce these costs by allowing students to share, donate, or trade goods that might otherwise go to waste. By fostering a sense of community and sustainability, we aim to make student life a little easier and a lot greener.
How CollegeShare Works
Simply browse, connect, and exchange items. Whether you’re looking to donate items you no longer need or looking for something specific, CollegeShare is the place to find it. We provide a platform for students to find items at no cost, support others, and help reduce waste.
Meet the Creator
CollegeShare was created by Ariana Chavez, a passionate student driven by the desire to make college life more affordable, sustainable, and community-oriented. As a student myself, I understand the challenges that come with balancing the cost of living, education, and the environment. I wanted to create a platform that not only helps students reduce their expenses but also promotes environmental responsibility and fosters a sense of connection among students.
Ariana is currently studying Design & Animation at the University of Texas at Dallas. Outside of CollegeShare, Ariana is passionate about art, thrifting, and sustainable living. She just recently learned html from her internet studio course and has prior assignment webpages available here.
