Welcome to CollegeShare! By using this site, you agree to the following terms:

• Purpose: CollegeShare is for college students to connect, share, and trade items responsibly and sustainably. This is NOT a marketplace for buying or selling items.
• User Responsibility: Only post items you own and are willing to give away or trade. Ensure items are safe, clean, and meet health and safety guidelines. Be respectful to other users.
• Prohibited Activities: Selling, reselling, or monetary exchanges are not allowed. We ask that you do not post or sell anything that could be deemed inappropriate, harmful, or illegal in content.
• Safety and Liability: For item exchanges we ask our users to meet in safe, public locations on campus or within 3 miles away from campus. CollegeShare is not liable for disputes or issues arising from trades but if a member is acting suspiciously we recommend the trade to be called off and to submit a report immediately.
• Item Claiming ProcessTo claim an item listed on CollegeShare, users must reach out to the item owner through their official student email address. This ensures the safety and authenticity of all transactions. CollegeShare requires all communications to be made through your university-provided email (e.g., Outlook). Using other email services for item claims may indicate suspicious or scam activity.

Important: If you receive an email about an item claim that is not from your university’s official Outlook email domain, please report it immediately. Such emails may be part of fraudulent activity, and it’s important to stay vigilant for any scam attempts.

• Account Termination: We reserve the right to remove content or permanently terminate accounts violating any of these terms.
