• Located on International Drive, Universal Studios Orlando is nestled in the heart of Orlando, Florida, a major tourist hub renowned for its theme parks, including Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. Its central location makes it easily accessible for tourists and locals alike.
• Much of Orlando, including the land where Universal Studios was developed, was once swampland. Before construction began in the 1980s, the area had to be drained and cleared to create the foundation for the park.
• The entire Universal Orlando Resort property spans over 735 acres, which includes Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay water park, and the upcoming Epic Universe park, set to open soon and expand the park’s influence even further.
