Reading Q & A
This webpage is a violation of a design don't. The violation being that clickable elements are not made obvious to user. This is bad design as it confuses users and doesn't allow conisitant navigation on a webpage. With the multitude of colored circles it can be assumed clicking on these circles or circular images would navigate to a new section but this isnt so. Instead there is a read more button prompt that has to be clicked instead which is visually unappealing and elongates a uses time to get from one point to another.

Creative Brief
- Project- Student Community Freebies
- Objective- Provide students with a way to frugal when they are in need of household items, food, clothing and anything of that sort. Similar to Facebook market place but only free items/trades and will be amongst student within the community.
- Audience- College students potentially low income. UTD students in the case of the project being a demo version.
- Competitors- Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Offer Up.
- Key Message- College students should be able to focus on studies rather than worry and scramble for things like clothing, food, care products, furniture. Having a site that provides resources for couponing, access to free items and other helpful tips could help a student from skipping meals or loosing focus on their studies.
- Key Consumer benefits- Having the site be mainly college students helps bring the campus community together as they are helping follow students but offering items they no longer need or trading for something that also benefits themselves. I also find that current sites to access free items tend to be unregulated and sketchy at times by establishing a student like network it will be safer to verify everyone's identify and intentions when using the website.
- Attitude- The tone of the webpage will be friendly and comforting with sections of: viewing listings from students, resource pages for budgeting, personal profiles and more.
- Call to Action- Having an easily accessible site will give students comfort especially those who don't have family nearby, this would provide opportunities to grow connections with other students in similar situations.
- Distribution- Distribution of the site would be done through flyers and advertising through school app, discord and other networking sites. Advertising in Comet Cupboard would also be benefitable as they provide plentiful of resources for food access, recipes and more.
